Sustainable Waste Handling In Hefei
Description
The purpose of this project is to improve the handling of garbage in Hefei Municipality, China, by transfering a European "best practice". Among other things this covers planning and management of garbage, including implementation of IT-based administration centers.
Implementation of the project: 2005 -2007
Partners
Aalborg Municipality, NIRAS, LOGIMATIC Ltd., North Denmarks EU-office, Vara Municipality, Vestsveriges EU-kontor and Hefei Municipality.
Finances
The project runs from 2004 till 2006 and is co-financed by the EU's ASIA URBS programme with 723,000 Euro. Budget: 1,000,000 Euro.
