Methodology for European Regional Innovation Policy Assessment
Description
The purpose of the project is to develop a European method for measuring the efficiency of regional innovation policies and initiatives.
The methods should furthermore be applied to:
- Strengthening the basis for deciding on innovation policies.
- Increasing the attention towards innovation policies.
- Measuring a regions strengths and weaknesses in the innovation area.
- Engaging in international benchmarking and development of regional innovation policies.
Partners
The Municipality of Aalborg, Aalborg University, The County of North Jutland, The Blekinge Region, The Municipality of Vilnius, The Kouvula Region and Lappeenranta Technical University.
Finances
The budget is 1,978,699 Euro and is financed by The 6th frame of programme INNOV-4-2004. The implementation period was January 2005 – July 2007.
