Engaging Regional SMEs within the ICT Sector in EU Research

Description

The objective of the project is to increase the participation of the SMEs (within the Information and Communication technology sector) in development projects at EU level. Besides an increase in participation in projects, the objective is to strengthen the interaction between SMEs and secure the development, innovation and research is integrated into the enterprises' future plans to prepare them for the challenges and demands of a global market.

Finances

The total budget is of 1,900,000 euro and is co-financed by the EU's 6th frame of programme Innov 6-2004 with 1,425,000 euro. The period of implementation was October 2005 till April 2008.
