Best Practice in Fundraising and Project Management

Description 

Training of civil servants in Kaliningrad Local Authority in project management is the centre of this project. The focus of the training is project management within the fields of economic-/business-development and environment. Besides this, an important part of the project is to provide the participants with an insight in how to apply for EU funding. The training is carried out in 3 modules - two in Aalborg and one in Kaliningrad. The project was implemented in the period 2001-2003.

Finances

The project is co-financed by the EU TACIS programme through the TACIS CBC Small Project Facility. The European Union's TACIS programme provides grant finance for know-how to foster the development of market economies and democratic societies in the New Independent States and in Mongolia. The TACIS programme have co-financed the project with app. 147,000 Euro. Budget: 184,000 Euro.
