General information monitoring and dissemination of EU programmes and policies.

An example could be to monitor the Social and Employment policies of the EU for North Jutland County and Viborg County or to monitor specific EU programmes for the municipalities in Region Aalborg. A part of this service is the information and press strategy of the EU-office according to which information can be disseminated to key persons in the network of the North Denmark EU-office.

Political lobbyism and project lobbyism in Brussels

Promotion of certain political issues through the political network relations of the Brussels office. Including the possibility for using the meeting and office facilities at the North Denmark EU-office in Brussels. The North Denmark EU-office also has the possibility of creating attention on specific project applications in relation to key persons in the European Commission with the aim of increasing the chances for co-financing from the EU.   

Participation in networks

To support the daily functions in relation to counselling and initiation of projects North Denmark EU-office gathers knowledge and information through the participation in international and local networks. Networks of current interest include:
